Whats On Your Work Desk Wednesday

Seriously. Where is the time going? I can't believe it is Wednesday already and it is almost May! This year is turning into a blur for me. I need it to slow down a little! (yeah, like that is gonna happen!)

Here we meet again, through the lovely Julia over at http://stamping-ground.blogspot.com/. Weekly inspiration and spy time! Thanks to all who visited me last week! I love getting comments, so please drop me a line if you have the time. I tried to visit as many blogs as I could and comment when I could (no children screaming). :)

This week I am working on finishing some layouts from classes at CKC. They are a little cookie cutter but I'm going to add some flair to them before they are all done. On my first desk is my daughter's first b-day! (yes, I am a few b-days behind)

On my second desk are a few layouts with my baby boy and one awaiting pics of my daughter. Isn't he just handsome!

I broke out my T!m Holtz stuff this weekend and made a lil something for my daughter's room. This small shadow box frame is from IKEA (only $5)! I started with white cardstock. I put some Distress Ink (Worn Lipstick, Dusty Concord, and Shattered Shutters) on my craft mat and spritzed with water, then rubbed my paper on the inky goodness. I used my ink blending tool to add some color to the white areas. Then I stamped my Suzi Blu "You are loved" stamp by Unity Stamp Co. on a separate piece of white cardstock and I cut her and the sentiment out. Finished her up with a little stickle action. Then I ran my white rose ribbon over my Distress Ink pads for a similar look to the background. When she saw this, she said "oooooo WOW" and tried to help hang it on her wall. :)

This is the card I made for my mom for Mother's Day, using nestabilities die and some simple $1 stamps.

Here is the gothic birthday card I made for my niece. I love the stampotique images, they are super awesome!

Thank you for stopping by! Don't forget to get your snoop on, I mean inspiration on over at http://stamping-ground.blogspot.com/.

  4. Super cute projects, love all the LO's. I hardly use my Cricut anymore, but when I do it comes in handy to have the Gypsy. Don't think I will sell it, I know once I do I will have a need for it. lol
