I can't believe it's Wednesday already! :D FAB. I look forward to Wednesday since that means the work week for the hubby is half over and it's "What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday"! Every week, Julia over at Stamping Ground, has the option to link up your blog and share your work space. It is super fun to get a peek into the world of other crafty folks...you should check it out.
This weekend I started reorganizing my space. I got a little done but with CKC Mesa, Saturday was a wash. But I did get to shop! LOL. And what did I get you ask? Well of course more PAPER. hahahahaha Also some lil embellishments and some Tim Holtz accessories for the newVagabond. I have to open this bad boy this weekend. :) While I do have a Cricut, I'm thinking of selling it since I think the Vagabond suits me better ~ too much thinking with the Cricut, plus I like the idea of cutting thicker substances.
So I moved my shelves to a different wall so I could put both of my work tables/desks together to create one super long work space. Oh yes. ;) I also put most of my ribbon back in it's home, so take a gander at that! The art work on the wall is from ORA, she is amazing. I have more work I need to hang of hers.
Close up, my mom's b-day card and mothers day card finished. The beginning of a gothic b-day card for my niece.
Desk #2. This is where the stuff is I need to sort and put away, also future projects waiting for me!
And for fun, here is my daughter's workdesk. She likes to create with me. She is very into Toy Story and who doesn't love to finger paint!
Chrissy

ReplyDeleteYou have a fantastic craft room here! I have the same storage cube thingies but not as many as you! An I am so jealous of your Vagabond :) I keep telling myself I don't really NEED one ... but I really WANT one, lol!

Thanks for showing us your crafting space - love how you have your storage organised. Hope you are using your Vagabond now as it is a mean machine.
ReplyDeleteLovely that your daughter is becoming a crafter.
Hugs, Neet x
That is an amazing desirable craft space. It's wonderful to help children into the craft path and I'm starting again with my grandees. The 4 year old spent two hours absorbed in painting backgrounds then stamping and making cards and was so proud to show her parents. We then played shop selling the cards to them!!!

ReplyDeleteLovely storage system set up and wonderful that your little sweetums crafts right with you!
ReplyDeleteHey Chrissy!
ReplyDeleteYay for fingerpaining! Gosh, what a lot of years since I did that :-)
LOVE the idea of an extra long workspace.
You asked about my new cutting mat, well it's a glass one, which is something I was never sure about. Then a little while ago, our WOYWW host Julia wrote a post about how much she loves her glass mat and I started to wonder if I should try one. Being able to clean it was one of the main draws. Plus my old green self-healing one was looking bit old and tatty.
So there, you did ask!! It's the Tonic Studios one :-)
Enjoyed looking at your pics and I hope to catch you next week, xx
I'm late (or early!) Lucky you having a TM thingy! I do like your draws and things behind, I have something that if I lie it on it's side it might sort of look like that and could be more useful. Not home all the week so that's one reason why I'm so late with WOYWW! hope you had a nice Easter!
